The best way to describe Fall/Winter in Houston is, well, UNPREDICTABLE! You can seriously sweat through a session one day in late November and then the next day you can't feel your fingers because it's so cold & the wind is blowing so strong you're pretty sure your client's kids might fly away. This was one of those days where I was they might blow away. You gotta love that first day right after a strong cold front blows in & there's not a cloud in the sky so it's suuuuuuper bright, extremely windy, & bitterly cold! Young kids who are born in Texas are not real big fans of this type of weather (and neither am I). However, the S family stuck it out with me & we made it through our afternoon! I know that before I can think twice, I will be back to my very predictable, sweaty sessions so I might as well enjoy these last few cold fronts that we will get....Oh Spring how I love thee!

Back in November I met up with my good friends, the W family at the Mercer Arboretum for their Christmas card pics! It was my first trip to this arboretum and even in November, this place was gorgeous! I can't imagine how pretty it is in the Spring - I just wish I lived closer to it! We had a great time exploring the park & trying to keep up with the youngest member of the family who is full of energy & loves to run :) Thank you W family for being such good friends of mine!

Love is in the air this February! I love talking about Valentine's Day with my little friends - they get sooo excited about exchanging Valentine's with their friends & classmates and they get so thrilled about decorating a Valentine's box for their parties at school. Children love unconditionally & often pass out hugs, kisses, & "I Love You's" without a second thought. My prayer for all my friends today is that someone will tell you that they love you & I also pray that you will feel God's unconditional love for you - not just today, but every second of everday.
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. -Philippians 1:9-11

I love this family! Not only are they a great looking bunch but they showed up wearing my favorite color! I worked with Miss B back last Spring for her senior pics & I was thrilled when they decided to take some fall family pics over Thanksgiving! Thank you W family for working with me again & for always sharing Christ's love everywhere you go! God has blessed me with some amazing families to work with!

Met up with the beautiful F family & their sweet girls back in November to take some Christmas pics! Took a few minutes to get the girls to break out their sweet personalities, but by the end of our time together, we were all laughing & giggling together! Thank you F family for joining me last Fall!

I had a blast with the V family back in November out in Richmond TX. Funny thing is that today's weather on Feb 1 is almost identical to the weather we had back in mid-November when we took these pics - extremely warm, humid & muggy! Where has winter gone or did it ever come? Lots of amazing pics came out of this shoot and this is just a small sampling of the fun we had that morning! :)
