Special blog post tonight to celebrate the 1st 6 months of this precious little girl's life! I've made it a point to make sure that we got a good picture every month of her life so that we can see how much she's grown! Well she's figured out no one will try & stop you from eating when you are a baby, so the bottle is a really good friend of hers :). I love her open mouth smiles & she has the most adorable giggles :) I also love that anytime her daddy looks her way, she gives her biggest smiles........Happy 6 months C!!!

Yes, I am still waaaay behind in blogging all the Fall/Christmas card sessions but it's been so much fun going back and looking at all of these pics & reliving the memories! This family is very close to my heart & I've had the chance to watch their youngest grow sooo much over the last 6 months! She was almost 4 months in these pictures and this weekend will be turning 6 months! She is soooo full of fat rolls & chubby cheeks that I can't get enough of her! Back to these pics though - the oldest Mr K turned 7 in November and had his front teeth grow back in - quite the milestone! Can't wait to share Miss C's first 6 months worth of pics with you soon! Back in November one of my sweet baby planners, Mr S hit the big 9 month marker. Best thing about the baby planning deal is that often the milestone months hit during a season in which family pictures are needed to! The P family got a 2-for-1 deal in November and were able to take their Christmas cards pics at the same time as their sweet boy's 9 month pics! Best part about this shoot was that big sister L LOVED the trains as they came by - not something you see everyday! :) Next month is the BIG 1 for Mr S - can't wait!!!

Happy New Year! I'm starting out my 1st post of 2012 by blogging out of session order, which I don't normally do, but hey why not??? I know that right now that the mother of this group is resting after having some surgery so I knew that if I posted these pics now, she would have adequate time to look at them over & over again :). LOL....anyways God decided on this Saturday that since I had 3 ladies in this fam with long hair that he would give us WIND & that he did! So yes while they came with combed hair, God gave them all new hair-dos by the time we were finished. I've known this family for a long time & their extended family even longer so it's always easy to make them smile. It also helps that their father is....well let's just say he's not shy :) Love you D family - hope you have a great 2012!!!

I love these boys! I've watched these 2 blue-eyed beauties grow up and we always have a lot of fun when we're together! Their momma surprised me back in the summer with baby #3 annoucement and so the prayers began for a baby girl!!! Suprise, suprise, next Spring, these boys will be getting a little SISTER!!!! I can't even contain my excitement & I can't wait to see who she looks like!!! But no doubt, she will end up with gorgeous blue eyes!!! :)

This little lady has the most amazing blue eyes & the sweetest personality ever! I could have posted a 100 photos from this shoot - this little girl knows how to work the camera! Back in November she turned the big 3 & I got to celebrate with her at her Clown-themed birthday party! The clown made the most awesome balloon animals, creatures, objects, you name it, he could make it!!! Course if anything hit the grass, POP, goes the balloon! Lots of fun with the Z family & all of their friends! Loved their Christmas card & can't wait to see them again soon!

Now that I've started receiving Christmas cards from friends, (hint hint to those who haven't mailed me one yet) I can start updating the blog more often! Yay! I think it might have been one of the brightest days ever and it right near sunset, we were still being blinded by the sun! I can't wait to see the B family next Spring when Baby #2 arrives!! This 1 week old beauty is just spilling over with chubby cuteness!! She was baby girl #2 for me that week back at the end of Ocotber and she was a champ! She smiled & cooperated even through all the outfit changes! I can't wait to see her again very soon to see how much she's grown! I love newborns - especially when they come out as cute & perfect as Miss E did! I had 2 newborn girls born within 2 days of each other and also photographed in the same- so the end of October was quite fun for me! I love when the best light in someone's home is in the nursery and especially when the nursery looks as amazing as this little girl's does! Mom had so many fun, adorable outfits for us to use, including some of her clothes from when she was a baby. If this little girl ends up with the amazing blue eyes that run in the family, we are going to have some fun!! Can't wait to see her again at 3 months!!!

I had the honor of capturing this beautiful wedding back in October at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond. I had a great time getting to know the bride & groom & all of their family & friends. I felt like I was part of their family by the end of the day! The bride & groom both wore boots to their wedding -and the groom & his dad & brothers had custom boots made just for the occasion! A memorable outdoor ceremony topped with a fun, energy packed reception made for a wonderful day! Lots of great food, GREAT music, fellowship & fun (photo booth included)!!! This little beauty's first 6 months has totally flown by! Miss L was a complete trooper this particular October morning because it was cold & windy - not just a little bit of wind, no pretty much a small hurricane without the rain! She never complained (ha!) and mustered her way through the shoot! Big sis had a good attitude about the whole situation and joined us for a number of pics! Thanks C family for a fun & crazy morning! This dashing young man turned 2 a few weeks ago and to capture his 2 year portraits, we traveled to Richmond TX since he has a love for trains! However, as with most young ones, their opinion of trains suddenly changes when they get their first up-close encounter with one! LOL...as cruel as this sounds, I love seeing their reaction when the train goes by - they usually either love it or hate it but their expressions are priceless :) Happy Birthday little guy!

Yes, I am waaaay behind in blogging - a month behind actually. But during this crazy fall season it's actually a good thing to be a little late in blogging since a lot of fall pics end up on Christmas cards and I don't want to be the one to spoil it! Back in October this seriously handsome little man turned 2! I hung out with him & his parents one evening in Richmond and we took LOTS of fun pics. I'm saving the full family pics for later after I see their Christmas card! A week later I attended Mr C's bday party at the Little Gym and had lots of fun "monkeying" around with him & all of his friends! Happy Halloween everyone! There's definitely nothing scary about this post though! I've made multiple trips to pumpkin patches this year with playgroups, friends & with my friend Miss K! She's turning the big 6 months this month and it was all too fitting to take her to a pumpkin patch to celebrate! She was all smiles at her 4 month shoot but she was having a little bit of an off night when we got together a few weeks ago. Never the less, she is still too cute for words & has cuter clothes than most of us do! :) Looking forward to seeing her again at 9 months!

This little beauty is another one of the kiddos who was born in the same week in early September as several of my other friends 5 years ago. She & her momma joined me back in mid-September to capture her 5 year milestone. She has the most vivid & large imagination of any child I've ever met so I thought it would be fun to tell her we were going to a "magical forest" that has fairies & such! However, I forgot that she also has a long list of fears....whoops. Therfore the first 30 minutes of our shoot were quite interesting to say the least. She recovered & did an amazing job for me! I'm in love with her blue eyes & how they sparkle in the sun! She even has a brother with matching eyes ;) Thanks W & L for a very fun & eventful evening! :)

This precious little girl turned 3 months back in September and she & her mom & dad joined me on a nice, very humid Saturday morning at Discovery Green to take a few pics! She wasn't a huge fan of the humidity and so she made me work really fast to capture her cuteness! I really enjoyed meeting the M family & working with sweet Miss L! And I loved the outfits her momma chose for her to wear -so sweet!

Meet Mr. B, the 2nd born to the B family & at 1 month old, already a football fan! Mom had fun picking out a really cute outfit for our shoot & even though the temp outside was quite warm, the temp inside was just perfect for his sweater :) Mr B looks just like his big sis & I have a feeling he is going to keep those gorgeous blue eyes (or at least I hope he does)! He did a great job a few weeks ago taking pics for me & his mom - even falling asleep half-way through so we could put lots of cute hats on him. Last time I saw this sweet 6 month she was an itty bitty 6 lb newborn. I think she's grown a little, don't you? I attended & photographed her baptism about a week before we took her 6 month pictures and I couldn't believe how much she'd grown when I saw her! She is such a happy, sweet baby & I was very excited to work with her again! Thank you H family for letting me be a part of her baptism & also her celebration of 6 months of life! I have had the best time following these 2 gorgeous twins over the past year! They are always so happy-go-lucky & easy to work with! They turned the BIG 1 a couple weeks ago and it still amazes me at how fast 1 year can go by! Lucky for me neither child was walking at the time of our shoot so they aren't at the "running" away from the camera stage yet. However, sweet girl E is reportedly now walking so I have a feeling they will give me a "run" for my money the next time I work with them! :). They had the cutest Dr Seuss themed birthday party with fantastic decorations & even custom made shirts they to wore to match! I can't thank J & E's mom enough for giving me the opportunity to work with them (and big sis) over the past year!

Mr J turned 1 back in June but mom decided to wait until August when he was 14 months to do his portraits. I had a blast taking pics at his 1st birthday party - at which time he wasn't walking yet - and now he is totally on the move! We took these pics towards the end of August on I do believe the hottest day of the month - and I'm not kidding on that one. Everyone including big sis did a fanastic job despite the large amounts of sweat pouring down their faces! Please enjoy these pics of this handsome little man - he is quite the charmer ;)!

Mr Handsome here turned 5 a couple weeks ago. He loves anything Cars (1 or 2), playing with his little brother (well most of the time), has a little stubborness in him, & thinks his dad could walk on the moon. 5 years ago several friends of mine gave birth within the same week and he was 1st out of the bunch. Hard to believe how much he has grown & changed over the past 5 years. An amazing thing always seems to happen after you take their 5 year pics - you look at the results and realize that they've lost their "baby face" and you're looking at a small version of the grown-ups they will all to soon become......his mom & dad have done an amazing job raising him & his brother! Happy Birthday L!

I know I don't give enough credit to the parents who work even harder than I do when I take pics. The smiles that result are 99% of the time the result of mom or dad (and both) doing something their child finds entertaining! In this case all mom had to was sing Miss K a song and she lit up as you can see! At the same time if dad did a little dance for her she bounced with excitement! At 4 months old, Miss K performed at the level of someone much older - sooo talented! :) Her smiles are contagious and if you're not smiling right now, then you should be!!! See you again soon! Blogging a little of order right now but I wanted to feature this beautiful mom-to-be since she is due in the next few weeks with a precious baby girl! She may be the most adventurous expectant mom I've ever dealt with, in that she was up for anything - climbing down steep embanks, climbing trees, but most of all she was willing to start shooting at 5:30 pm in the 100 degree heat at 9 months preg! I can't wait to meet her baby girl in a few weeks & capture those precious first newborn days! Thanks K & J for braving the heat & being really good sports!

I love when I work with families that come to me with several generations in tow! The S family here came with some fun, gorgeous people, from the youngest to the oldest! The sweet babies are cousins and are just a couple weeks apart - they both did so well despite the heat & the fact it was really close to morning nap time (and as you can see we lost one towards the end). I give all props to my customers who come out and brave the heat like they did! They did get some relief though - they all left a couple days later and hit the beach - a first for both babies! I enjoyed working with all of you & I'm looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

This lovely lady is now officially a FRESHMAN in college & I'm sure she is totally in love with college life already! :) She needed a few pics for a project she was working on so we met on a very interesting evening - there was actually a nasty storm on the horizon but it stayed just far enough east of us that we were safe & benefited from the cool breeze & cloudy skies! Miss L here was one of my many baby girls I had born back in the Spring and just one of several who has hit the 3 month marker! We chose to stay inside for this shoot since she gets some great light in her bedroom and since the 100 dergree plus temps aren't really appealing to anyone right now! Mom picked out cute matching outfits for Miss L & her big sis but big sis wasn't really into taking pics on this day so the spotlight is all on Miss L & her sweet smile! Looking forward to seeing her again in October!

Great things come in small packages! She came into this world a month early, weighing in at 6lbs 3oz, and perfect in every way! At 5 days old she performed like a champ for me & her parents and took some awesome pics! This baby girl is already so loved & sooo spoiled (not that I had any part in that or anything!). At almost 2 weeks old we took her pics with her 2 older brothers and again, she did fantastic! I'm hoping that she'll be so used to me that anytime she sees me & my camera, she'll just smile :). Congrats again to the W family and their beautiful new addition! Thanks for always sharing your kiddos with me! Hard to believe her 1 month pics will be in just a little over a week......

in the weather that is! Last time I was with the B family it was in January and it was FREEZING! Thanks to a mid-afternoon storm that had brought in a cold front, it was not only frigid temps but hurricane force winds! They were all such good sports about it and 6 months later they decided they wanted to try it again! Ha, well they got the opposite weather extreme this time and dealt with sweat, heat & humidity this time! Not only has the weather changed but their eldest daughter got engaged shortly after our last shoot! So not only did we take family pics this time but we snuck in some engagement pics of the happy couple! Those two are so much fun & they are going to have such an excited life together! Thanks B family for always being so entertaining & keeping my job exciting!

This beautiful little red-head turned 2 a few weeks ago and I had the pleasure of not only taking her 2 yr portraits, but also taking pics at her birthday party! She has twice as much hair as she did last year at this time and hopefully before long she'll have enough for her momma to braid! We had some fun together in Richmond, TX a few weeks ago and even her Grandma came out and joined us for some fun pics! The giant lollipop mom brought along was definitely the hit of the evening! Turning Three, Trains, & Traveling.....

I think there should be a rule - my customers (and good friends) should never be allowed to move out of my working area - it's a good rule, right? Well some of my friends are moving very soon and they won't be back (well hopefully they'll visit) for a few years :(. There daddy's job is taking them overseas and they are starting a new chapter in their lives! They will have some awesome adventures and make some wonderful memories I'm sure, but they will be greatly missed here in TX! For J's 3 year pics we headed out to Rosenberg to play "trains" for the morning. A few days later we met up with his dad's side of the family and took some pics so that they will have lots of pics to frame in their new house and enjoy! Thankfully today's technology will keep the boys from feeling so far away from their extended family and it will also help the rest of us to keep up with their journey along the way! God Bless the T family and I'm not going to say "good-bye" but simply see you later because I know I will!

I started a tradition with my best friend a few years ago of meeting up with her one day during her week long vacation to Galveston and taking pics of her twins on the beach at sunset. This year her dad's side of the family decided they wanted to join in on the fun! Funny thing is that you would think the older the twins get, the easier it would be to get pics of them, right? yeah well, let's say one child presented more of a challenge for me than the other. He will be reminded of it for a while to come but I love him still :). Love all the "summery" colors that everyone picked out to where! Thanks M family & C family for all the work that went into getting everyone coordinated :).

I met the H family for pics last month right before they were flying off to a glorious island vacation! I tried to convince them to take me with them, that we could take some amazing family portraits where they were going, but apparently there was no extra room in their luggage for me! I have known this beautiful all-american girl since she was born and just last week she turned 5 on the 4th of July. How she is already 5, I'm not sure. How is it possible for this child to be starting Kindergarten??? In the end, it means I've gotten older too - I just try not to think about that part. This day was a photo shoot not only for her, but also for her adorable lil sister & lil brother - which is why there are so many photos posted! Little sister will turn 3 in August, which is also hard to believe. And baby brother is now sitting up and was 7 months at the time we took the pics! I love these kiddos like they were my own and I hope that I can continue to always watch them grow!! :)

I've had the chance to work with these beautiful girls a couple times but we still hadn't had the chance to get both mom & dad in the pics until a couple weeks ago! The girls have both grown so much just in the last 6 months and they just keep getting prettier and prettier!! We went out to Booth, TX to have some fun, oh and take a few pictures. At the beginning of June these 2 adorable children hit the big 9 month marker. I have had soooo much fun following these 2 since they were newborns and it's so hard to believe that our next big milestone pics will be at 1 yr :(. These 2 are so easy going and always have smiles for me, no matter what time of the day it is! I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate 4th of July then to share some of their cuteness with everyone! We took some family pics also but we have some we need to finish so I will post those on another day. The ceremony took place at First Presbyterian Church in Sugar Land, TX and was beautiful! God has truly blessed my aunt with a wonderful man & my family is honored to welcome him in to being a part of ours!

I love it when I have to opportunity to spend time with my clients at "home" or as in this case at their Nana's house in Brenham! I had so much fun getting the chance to explore their property and see how they spend their time when they are out there! We originally planned this shoot way back in the Fall and decided to wait until Spring thinking that there would be the usual field of bluebonnets in April on their property in which to take pictures but we all know how that went this year! Needless to say we were not hurting for any spots to take pics - lots of wonderful photos & memories came out of that Saturday evening! Thank you sooo much to the J family for inviting me out to Brenham and as always to my friends the S family for being the kind, sweet & photogenic family that you always are :)

June has been a crazy month full of birthday parties, catching up with friends & family from out of town, and much more! Back to catching up on blogging some of these fun times! Rewind back to the first Sunday in June when it decided to rain for the first time in a long, long time on certain parts of the city. And not just rain, crazy hurricane-like winds that took out a lot of people's power including mine! So we waited until the last minute, exchanged lots of "should we try it?" text messages, and then decided we should take our chances! The rain literally skirted just north of downtown Richmond, leaving us with some cloud cover and slightly lower temps! You'll recognize several of these folks from last December when I worked with M's sides of the the family. Well now it was A's turn to bring along her mom, dad, sis, & future bro-in-law for some picks - oh and her future BABY GIRL because she is due to have another gorgeous baby this fall! We had a lot of fun hanging out together, watching for trains, hunting for rocks, & taking a few pics as well! Thanks to all of you for a great time! Congrats to M & E on your upcoming wedding & to M & A on the news of your baby girl coming this fall!

He celebrated his 2nd birthday with a train-themed party, complete with a train that came to his house & the cutest decorations ever! His portrait shoot took place last week and he did AWESOME! This was the most smiles he's ever given me - I guess the 3rd time is a charm! Big thanks to Mr C's mom for all of her help & for throwing such a grand party for her sweet boy!

I'm pretty sure my lil' buddy C should have been named John Deere because his LOVE for tractors is unmeasurable! This kiddo is turning 2 in a few days and I can't believe how fast he's grown! He & his family hold a special place in my heart because they were my 1st baby planners when I started my business 2 years ago and they've trusted me with their precious memories ever since!!! For his 2 year portraits we went out to borrow a tractor & the property of some of their good friends! Course once we brought out the big John Deere, the rest of our plans were out the window... ;) I love you K family - thank you for sticking with me & becoming my friends! Isn't she lovely? Born at the end of April and making her photo debut at just 1 week old, Miss L is already wrapped around her daddy's finger :) However, she will always have a little competition with her older sister who is pretty fond of her daddy too. I've known Miss L's parents for a long time, I won't say how long because then I'll just feel older than I already do :). They are awesome parents and I am honored that they asked me to continue to follow their growing beautiful family! Thank you C family for letting me be a part of your happiness!!

I could not have asked for a better way to end the senior shoots for 2011 but with Miss T and her gorgeous self! A girl after mine own heart - she didn't get her senior pics taken sooner because she was in the middle of SOFTBALL PLAYOFFS - WOO HOO! Brought back a few awesome memories for me & my high school years :) Miss T actually lucked out on the evening we took pics was right after our May "cool front" and the humidity was low and the wind was a lot calmer than it has been this year!

Downtown Richmond never gets old, especially when your client is taking pics there for the first time! Thank you Miss T & parents for spending a fun evening with me! I can't believe your graduation is just a week or so away! Good luck at Texas State!

If you asked any high school senior right now "what's that smell?" - their reply would be "GRADUATION"- ha! It's soooo close they can smell it now! I worked with this gorgeous girly a few months ago when we took some pics with her fellow basketball teammates! She's been very active in sports and I know she will miss it greatly - I know I did after high school - I think playing sports was the best thing about high school! I wish I could be in the shape I was during those high school years - LOL! Congrats Miss S on your graduation in just a couple weeks - I hope you soak up the whole experience and get to party it up afterwards and celebrate your accomplishments! :)

So I'm posting a little out of order but I felt this newborn shoot deserved a Mother's day shout out! The momma of this little beauty is celebrating her 1st Mother's Day this year thanks to the birth of sweet baby K born back in April! Baby K has really awesome, laid-back parents! We had a great time playing with this sweet baby and yes she is laying in one picture on her mommy's wedding dress! I wish we could have gotten her sweet canine siblings in the pics too but maybe when I see her again this summer we will work them in! Congrats W family and Happy Mother's Day B!

Last of the Spring Minis!

So here we have the last day of the bluebonnet mini sessions and also a different location. After a frantic scramble to find some bluebonnets that as of April 10th were still alive, I managed to find a location inside the city of Houston along a very steep bayou. My customers are really good sports and were up for the challenge of a last minute location change and sitting at a 90 degree angle. It was a great day overall, lots of smiles, a little warm temp, and as usual very a bright & WINDY day! Thank you all again for coming out to "bluebonnet boot camp" this year and I am praying for some rain for next year's crop of wild flowers!

Ahhhh so the search began on April 1st for my location for bluebonnet mini sessions! My scouting partners included Mr J., who had indeed turned 9 months in March and decided that bluebonnets would make a great addition to his baby plan! We did indeed find a "bluebonnet field of dreams" which in this past year of a horrible drought, hence no wildflowers, brought great relief to my fears of not finding any flowers at all!! I'll explain more in my next bluebonnet post but for now please enjoy the handsome Mr J and of course his beautiful big sis who is a great model :) Thanks A for the fun & exciting time we had while out scouting! Introducing Miss A........

This beautiful little girl entered the world on her due date! She decided it wouldn't be right to suprise her mom by coming early nor did she want to be late for her own birthday celebration, so she decided to come right on time! I met Miss A when she was not even a week old yet and she was a fantastic model! Her big brother was there but decided that he would be in just a few pictures and at the time had not really warmed up to holding her yet (although that has already changed!). Everyone is very excited to have the first granddaughter in the family and I was blessed to be able to capture some of those precious moments with them! Thank you H family for working with me!

Isn't she gorgeous? Another beautiful senior that I've been blessed to work with this year! The class of 2011 has been filled with some seriously intelligent, stunning ladies! This lovely lady is no exception - she told me about all the different things she's thought about doing in college & for her future, and they all sound amazing! We enjoyed an evening in Downtown Richmond a few weeks ago before it got to be so hot outside! It wasn't until after our shoot that I found out she's not real fond of trains but she worked past her fears and took some gorgeous pics up there! Congrats Miss E, I wish you all the best in college - can't wait to hear which school you choose!

Sometimes I have trouble calling what I do my "job" because most of the time it never seems like "work"!! When I get to go out to the park and simply enjoy watching a family playing & interacting at the park, it's more a blessing to me than it is work! I had a fantastic time with the A family and their seriously cute boys! This was my first time to work with this family, but the boys did great - simply because they were doing something they do quite often! I am blessed to not only attend the same church as this great family but to also call them friends! Thank you A family for a great time!

Every March I have several of my little "boyfriends" who have birthdays. Mr S here is one of them! He hit the big "2" during Spring Break and we just recently went out one evening and had some fun with him. He has been happy-go-lucky since the day he was born and I've never had a problem getting smiles out of him :) He is also quite the ham as you can see! With lots of help from mom and a little help from big brother, we got lots of happy pics and had fun while doing it. I love working with this family as they are very good friends of mine and I can't wait until we hang out again!

The countdown to last day of school is officially on now that Spring Break is over! Ask any teach or high school SENIOR how many days of school are left and I bet they can tell you! However, if you ask the mom of this high school senior (along with many other moms), they really don't want to talk about how quickly the end of the school year is coming! :) This pretty lady will remain in Texas for college, which in my opinion there isn't a decent college outside of Texas anyway so she's making a great decision! I had fun hanging out with Miss B & her family and I hope to see them again sometime around graduation! Congrats to you and all of the 2011 Seniors!!!

That's right, the bluebonnets (and the other wild flowers) are beginning to come up in Texas! I am doing bluebonnet mini-sessions this year in the Brenham area! Location will be decided by April 2nd. Here are the details :

30 minute session for $75. Advanced payment by cash or check is required. Sessions are non-refundable.

This tiny little beauty was born a couple weeks before her due date - I met her mom & dad back in February when we took the maternity photos, which apparently was rather exciting for baby J because a couple days later I found out mom was in the hospital trying to hold off labor! She hung on and now has this amazing little girl with beautiful black hair in which lots and lots of bows will be placed! Thanks to mom, dad, and both sets of grandparents for helping me capture these precious moments of 8 day old baby J. I can't wait to see her again soon!

Can you believe that these beautiful babies are already 6 months old???? And they just keeping getting cuter and cuter! I got the chance to play with them on their 6 month birthday last week at a playgroup their mom was hosting and of course it was incredibly WINDY outside but since they don't have much hair, their pics turned out great and so I just had to show them off! E & J have the most happy-go-lucky personalities and they are always smiling! I've had so much fun watching these two grow and I can't wait to see them again in April for pics in the bluebonnets! Thanks Mom for inviting me to your playgroup and letting me meet some wonderful moms and their adorable kids!

That's right ladies, there's a new guy in town! Meet Mr. S, a very handsome little guy who at 2 weeks old was quite the cooperative model! He is already very loved by his mom & dad and his big sister! I worked with the P family back in November and have been anxiously awaiting the little one's birth - especially since they decided to wait until their baby was born to find out whether they were having a baby boy or girl! Now their house has a princess and a super-hero/knight-in-shining armor :) Big Sis L turned 3 shortly before her lil brother's arrival so we spent some special time together at the end of our shoot! Congrats P family, God has truly blessed your family once again!

Yes, it's hard to believe but this little charmer is already turning 3! Seems like just yesterday that his mom & I were chasing him around trying to get him to smile and stay still - now we're still chasing him but his smiles are now much easier to achieve! All I can say is ladies, look out because Mr. K is charming, fearless, and with those long, gorgeous lashes, he's going to break some hearts one day...... :) Happy Birthday K, can't wait to see you at your party!

That's right, this beautiful high school senior is off to TX A&M in the fall! Her familiy bloodline bleeds burnt orange but I know that they will still love her all the same! It's all about the wonderful education she is going to receive and that she is staying in the great state of TX! E, her mom, and I had some fun in Downtown Richmond, despite the evil wind that seems to keep haunting Houston lately! I enjoyed meeting her and getting to hear about her future plans! I also enjoy hanging out with her mom (who I get to see twice a week @ work!). This little guy just turned the big "1" and he is sooo happy about it! We had a great time getting aquainted out at Oyster Creek Park on Superbowl Sunday! Of course it was super windy since apparently that's all we can get around here anymore! The wind didn't keep him from smiling and giggling like crazy while we were out there though! Even if you are still single like me, you can be happy for those who are celebrating their 1st Valentine's Day like my niece and you can also help us celebrate those who have recently passed and are missing their first Valentine's Day. I personally know 2 people under the age of 30 who have just recently passed but I rejoice for them knowing that they both are spending this Valentine's Day with their heavenly Father.

February is the perfect month to show off a beautiful mom-to-be and the precious baby girl she is carrying! I've been very blessed to get some "warmer" days on the weekends and be able to get some work in without shivering the whole time! I met this great couple in West Houston and took some pics for them last weekend! They are expecting their first baby, a girl, in March! I am anxiously awaiting several baby girls to be born in March! Can't wait to put cute hats, bows, and tutus on this little girl! Thank you J & B for working with me and I can't wait to see you again soon!

Okay, so the B family wins the award for probably my coldest, windiest shoot so far! This was day 1 of the artic blast last week and it had stormed very early in the morning and then the sun came out. However, the temperature dropped to way too cold and the wind was blowing out of the North at crazy speeds! They never once complained about how unpleasant the conditions were and I think we ended up getting a lot of laughs out of the day because of the weather! We had a good time out in Fulshear, TX and I can't wait to see them again this summer when I know we will not be shivering!!! :)
